Professional Experience
Nygmetov Yerkin Talgatuly has many years of managerial experience in the maritime industry and logistics, as well as deep expertise in the transport, logistics, and oil & gas sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He began his career in 2006 as a manager in the Commercial Department of National Maritime Shipping Company Kazmortransflot LLP. In subsequent years, he held senior leadership roles, including Director of the Commercial Department, Director of Marketing and Contracts, and Director of Business Development. In these roles, he oversaw client base development, international contracting, fleet management, and the strategic development of maritime transportation.
He has extensive experience in implementing international projects, representing the interests of Kazmortransflot LLP and NC KazMunayGas JSC in the United Kingdom. His work included organizing the transportation of oversized modules for the Tengizchevroil expansion project, as well as supervising the construction and commissioning of specialized vessels at European shipyards. He also led the subsidiary Kazmortransflot LTD (UK), overseeing the development of international maritime transportation and optimizing logistics processes in the Black Sea and Mediterranean regions.
From 2021 to 2024, he worked as Head of Logistics at North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC), where he managed key logistics projects, improved operational efficiency, and implemented modern technological solutions. In 2024, he rejoined Kazmortransflot LLP as Commercial Director.
Since December 2024, he has served as Director of Business Development at Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions LLP—a joint venture between NC KazMunayGas JSC and Abu Dhabi Ports—where he is responsible for strategic planning, expanding the client base, and delivering major infrastructure projects that have strengthened the company’s position and contributed to industry development.
