Port Kuryk Participates in the USA–Eurasia Transportation Forum

Yerkin Nygmetov, CEO of Port Kuryk LLP, together with representatives of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the USA–Eurasia Transportation Forum. The event brought together port executives, logistics and supply chain professionals, business leaders, and members of the diplomatic community to promote trade and economic connectivity between the United States and Eurasia.

As part of the Forum, Mr. Nygmetov delivered a presentation on the strategic role of Port Kuryk within the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

During the working visit, members of the joint delegation visited the Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT), one of the most advanced container terminals in North America, located in Long Beach, California.

The delegation met with Josh Johnson, General Manager of Operational Development at LBCT. Mr. Johnson conducted a tour of the terminal facilities and presented its modern infrastructure. The visitors were introduced to automated cargo handling systems, digital freight flow management solutions, and environmental initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of port operations.

The parties discussed prospects for the further development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, as well as opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

The Forum generated significant interest among participants and opened new opportunities for continued dialogue between American and Eurasian partners.
